Welcome to Scott's Taxidermy

For 25 years, Scott’s Taxidermy has helped hunters and outdoor enthusiasts preserve the stories behind their time afield. Scott brings a self-taught artist’s eye and skilled craftsmanship to mammals, birds, and fish, creating lifelike mounts that honor each animal and the memories it represents.  With a commitment to improving skills and artistry, he regularly attends advanced classes taught by world and national title holding taxidermists.  Scott has been competing in taxidermy competitions in Maine and Connecticut and has won several blue ribbons, Best of Categories, Pro 1 Award, Van Dykes Most Original & Creative Presentation Award and Grand Champion Gamehead Award.

With the exception of small mammals, hides are professionally tanned for soft, pliable leather and lasting durability. Bear rugs are finished with sewn—not glued—felt, a traditional detail built to last.

From upland game birds and waterfowl to fish, every piece receives careful attention to detail. Fish services include traditional skin mounts, fiberglass reproductions, and restoration—crafted to help keep a memorable catch close.
